Taking Paediatrics Abroad
Taking Paediatrics Abroad (TPA) is a registered charity enhancing care for children with complex medical problems. We do this by enabling the collaboration of Australian paediatric subspecialists with treating clinicians in low resource countries in the Asia-Pacific region and in remote locations for Australian Aboriginal children.
The care-giving capabilities of doctors, nurses and allied health professionals are boosted, helping to save lives & strengthen health systems. Timely subspecialty guidance about actual cases enables refinement of management, follow-up of progress, debriefing and crystallisation of key learnings. Clinical education sessions are provided on requested topics and supportive conversations enhance wellbeing.

TPA’s Mission
